The Head of IT Business Applications oversees the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of critical business applications (ERP, PDM, E-Com, HR) for B2B and D2C. Responsibilities include managing the IT application team, aligning applications with business goals, ensuring seamless integration, and monitoring performance for reliability and scalability. 
The role drives innovation, efficiency, and productivity through IT applications, enabling data-driven decision-making to support business growth. 

IT Application Strategy & Leadership 

• Define and implement an IT application strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of critical applications (ERP, PDM, E-Commerce, HR).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT applications with business processes and drive efficiency.
• Foster cross-functional cooperation to support digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.

Application Management 

• Ensure seamless integration, scalability, and high availability of business applications.
• Oversee system updates, optimizations, and compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor performance and reliability, proactively addressing issues.

Vendor & Project Management 

• Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party application selection and integration.
• Develop and control project plans, budgets, and timelines for application development.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and technical requirements.
• Assess emerging technologies to enhance business application capabilities.

Enterprise Architecture & Documentation 

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of IT architecture and roadmap in LeanIX.
• Align IT architecture with long-term business and digital strategies.

Integration & Development 

• Lead integration and development efforts with the Team Lead Integration & Development.
• Ensure robust API and data integration frameworks for seamless connectivity.
• Support continuous improvement in development, testing, and deployment.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Proven experience leading teams of application managers and IT business analysts
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
• Strong project management expertise
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, application integration, and IT service management 
• Experience with LeanIX (EAM) is an advantage
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities 
• Familiarity with the fashion industry is a plus
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); German is a plus.
