The Enterprise Architect (SAP Focus) is responsible for defining, maintaining, and optimizing the enterprise architecture across all critical business applications, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA and integrated business platforms (DMS, PDM, E-Commerce, etc.). The role ensures that technology strategy and investments are aligned with Astor Mueller AG’s business objectives, enabling digital transformation, operational excellence, and data driven decision-making. This position acts as a bridge between IT and business functions, integrating architecture best practices, promoting innovation, and supporting new solution delivery globally.

• Develop, maintain, and communicate an enterprise architecture roadmap, prioritizing SAP platforms and integrations.
• Lead the adoption of architectural standards and governance to guide technology
• selection, integration, and evolution.
• Collaborate with business units (Product, Sourcing, Operations, HR, Finance, Commercial) to identify requirements and optimize solutions.
• Manage the enterprise applications inventory and capability mapping using LeanIX or similar tools.
• Oversee architecture for secure and seamless integration among SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Drive and support business process modeling and value stream optimization.
• Partner with Data Management teams to ensure robust data governance and security.
• Scout emerging technologies and propose opportunities for business innovation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and provide guidance to technical teams; foster cross-functional collaboration and change management.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with a strong background in SAP environments.
• Proven leadership in global SAP transformation projects (implementations/upgrades/integrations for S/4 HANA).
• Solid track record in enterprise architecture management using tools such as LeanIX, Signavio, or comparable.
• Hands-on experience integrating Commerce (Shopify, Sales Application), Admin (BI/Analytics: PowerBI, Datalake) into enterprise landscapes.
• Strong foundation in business process modeling, data integration, and secure application architectures.
• Deep technical proficiency in SAP platforms and a broad understanding of enterprise application integration.
• Expertise in business capability mapping, application portfolio management, and value stream analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and team leadership skills; able to translate business needs into actionable architecture.
• Project management expertise and ability to manage multiple priorities across geographies.
• Analytically strong, with experience driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); German is an advantage. 
• Familiarity with EAM best practices and fashion/retail industry IT processes is a plus.
