Role summary
Drive and optimize our logistics processes with our external warehouse partner – as the key link, you ensure smooth operations and measurable results.
Your responsibilities
- Operational support and supervision of the warehouse processes managed by our external freight and logistics partner at the distribution center (goods receipt and dispatch, order picking, shipping, D2C/B2B returns)
- Ensuring smooth goods flow (inbound, outbound, and returns) in close coordination with our external logistics provider
- Supporting inventory counts, stock reconciliations, and logistics-related projects
- Acting as the main on-site contact between our company and the logistics service provider
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting KPIs such as processing time, error rates, stock levels, shipping quality / tracking and evaluating key performance indicators to optimize warehouse and shipping processes
- Serving as an interface between the central supply chain team, the logistics provider, and other service partners
- Preparing analyses, reports, and recommendations for management actions, especially in cases of process deviations
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and quality standards
- Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners
Your profile
- Completed training or university degree in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
- Professional experience in warehouse logistics, ideally within the footwear, textile, or consumer goods industry — preferably in cooperation with logistics service providers
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with numbers, KPIs, and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with SAP and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a well-organized, hands-on approach
- Willingness to work on-site at our external warehouse in Peine
