Role summary

As an Accounts Executive, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, you’ll bring your expertise, independence, and collaborative mindset to a dynamic environment where accuracy and teamwork matter.

Your responsibilities

  • Verify and update AP invoices, landed costs and credit notes in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain records in accordance with accounting norms and for audit purposes.
  • Assist in monthly closing activities, including provisions and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for purchase and Sales Invoice Processing:
  • Conduct reconciliation for vendors and customers, collecting balance confirmations on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Handle cash and bank transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate internal audits on a monthly basis, providing necessary support and documentation.
  • Follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments and obtain missing invoices from vendors, confirming payments.
  • Conduct month-end closure activities, including provision entries, FOC reconciliation, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain records for insurance and rental agreements as per company policies.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong background in financial accounting, with at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SAP is preferred but not mandatory; experience with other accounting software is also an advantage.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, GST, and TDS requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
